16 weeks

Depending on how you count your months, today is 4 months. 4 months lunar-ly (there are 10 lunar months of pregnancy; each lunar month has 4 weeks, and there are 40 weeks of pregnancy). On the normal calendar, it's a little less than 4 months, but it's harder to figure out how many months I am that way, so I just go by the lunar calendar.

Here's babycenter's 16 week update for Sea Monkey:

"Get ready for a growth spurt. In the next few weeks, your baby will double his weight and add inches to his length. Right now, he's about the size of an avocado: 4 1/2 inches long (head to rump) and 3 1/2 ounces. His legs are much more developed, his head is more erect than it has been, and his eyes have moved closer to the front of his head. His ears are close to their final position, too. The patterning of his scalp has begun, though his locks aren't recognizable yet. He's even started growing toenails. And there's a lot happening inside as well. For example, his heart is now pumping about 25 quarts of blood each day, and this amount will continue to increase as your baby continues to develop."

I'm looking kind of pregnant. =) I think it's mostly noticeable just to Zach and I, unless I'm wearing a shirt that's more form fitting. I think I'm still at the chubby phase for people who don't know me. But we're getting there!! =)

Symptoms are headaches galore (though nothing horrible recently, just minor annoying headaches), sneezing like crazy, the most bizarre dreams I've ever had, and what I think is round ligament pain. Woohoo! Oh, and I'm hungry just about all the time. I still want sugar and ONLY sugary goodness, but I'm not eating much of it. Yay self restraint!

And to liven up this boring update (it's early and I'm tired), for the past few days, I've been feeling a consistent something. Sometimes it feels like bubbles, sometimes it feels like butterflies, and sometimes it just feels like jello jiggling around. It's odd. But I've felt it once a day (or more) for the past three days. Woohoo!

Also, our car is finally back and functioning! (I'm going to start bawling if it doesn't start tonight.) After 3 weeks of being a stupid moron car, it's driving and it's not dying when idling! Oh happy day. =)

Oh, and it's pizza and chocolate Friday! I love P&C Fridays. =) I decided one Friday last summer that it was Chocolate Friday and we must get chocolate. So Zach got me some chocolate and I was very happy. And then we just continued it and Zach added pizza in, and it's morphed into eating pizza, drinking orange soda, and watching movies all night (and eating chocolate and usually popcorn). It's a fantastic tradition. And I will not feel guilty for eating less than amazingly one night a week. :P

I'm trying to decide if I should post a bump picture today.... I don't think there's been much of a change since last week, but I haven't taken a picture yet, so I don't know. Maybe. I'll probably get Zach to take a picture and then post it on facebook. So... There may be a picture.
