Fishy, fishy, in the sea

Sunday night I felt Sea Monkey for sure! It was really cool, and in a weird way, it kind of tickled. I meant to write about it earlier, but we were about to go to bed when it happened and then I forgot until now. I had rolled onto my stomach (I'm not usually on my stomach) and Sea Monkey moved from my left side to my right, and back to my left. It felt like a fish swimming around my uterus. So weird, but so cool! So I have officially felt SM "for sure" now. =) Yay!

Zach's on a trial run to work on his bike right now. He's all helmeted and the bike is in good condition, so he's safe, but I still worry. I don't remember if I mentioned this, but since our car is being stupid, Zach's going to be taking his bike to work and we're just going to glare at the car until we can afford to fix it. That'll teach it. "Car, if you don't start, we'll glare at you." Ooooh, we're threatening, aren't we? That's my method for handling it. Zach's is more a "let's figure out what we need to do to be able to get this taken care of" sort of approach. Pfft. Being practical and realistic is SO not what this situation calls for. (I'm joking)

We've recently discovered we own a lot of things we aren't using. And a lot of them have at least some monetary value. So we've listed a bunch of stuff on Craigslist. We had 4 extra printers and so far have sold 1. And we sold Zach's PS2, and his old Creative MP3 player (he was sad to see that one go) and a couple other things. We have a washer and dryer that we had before we moved into where we are now, and our current house has a washer and dryer provided, so we're selling that (I'll be sad to see those go- even though we don't use them right now, they worked wonderfully). We can actually see the back of our office closet now! Before, it was the super-efficient (and terrifying) closet full of junk, but now the extra stuff is in a slowly shrinking stack in the corner in the living room, and we can both walk inside the closet now. Not that we have any need to, but just knowing that we can is fun. =)

Oh, I'm highly amused by this: even though my belly is protruding quite a bit now, my favorite jeans still fit. I can still button them and there's inches of extra space. They're the same size (and brand and style) as my other jeans, but these are a few years old and really worn in (they've been patched many, many, many times), so they fit so much better. They're so comfortable. It makes me happy that I'm almost half way through this pregnancy and still wearing my comfy jeans. I don't know if that's unusual or not, but it makes me excited. I'm going to laugh if I get all the way to term and am still able to wear my comfy jeans. =) I know it's not likely, but I'll still be happy if it happens. =)

Should I bring my .44 for the car?

Love you,
