Here's what happened.
I've kind of been in a sour mood all day because Zach accidentally took the spoon out of the brown sugar container to stir his coffee (we like brown sugar in our coffee). And I mentioned it on gchat (while he was at work) that he keeps stealing the spoon. So he asked why we keep one in there and don't just grab a new one when we need it like we do with the measuring cups for the flour and sugar containers. And I replied that the measuring cups don't really fit in the brown sugar container. And he was just trying to understand the logic of it, and I finally said "it's just how I do things" because I was getting frustrated and didn't know how to explain my madness. So anyway, that's what set me off today (and really, it was nothing to be upset about; he wasn't even disagreeing with me; just wanted to understand).
So then later on tonight, we were in the kitchen talking about the stuff I had in the crock pot that will at some point (hopefully) be our dinner tonight. There's a lot of rice in it and it had been in the crock pot for about an hour and it wasn't done yet, and Zach suggested we make something else to have for dinner and have the casserole-goup for dinner tomorrow. I said the rice would be probably be done soon (it's on high), but if we really wanted to, we could scoop some out and put it on the stove and hopefully that would be faster. I think he said something about how that would be more work, so I, of course, got flustered again and said "it's just how I do things" and burst into tears. He asked what I was crying about and I said "I don't know!!!" He just kind of laughed and let me burrow my head on his shoulder and said (in a joking tone) "I was wrong and you're always right." To which I responded, still jokingly, "And don't you forget it." And then I blubbered out "I'm so sick of peeing!!*" I think he laughed a little more and said "it's all for a good cause, right?" I said yes, and then we both started laughing. And he told me I should write about it on my blog. So here it is. My first crazy-pregnant-woman experience.
I don't know why I flipped out. But there you go. And Zach weathered the madness well. =)
*I should mention that I try to keep a good attitude about the peeing every 20 minutes thing. I've spent a lot of time downstairs in the living room recently- our bathroom is upstairs. So I sort of consider the frequent trips up and down the stairs both hazardous to my clumsy self and a decent form of exercise. =)
Update: Zach wants me to add that he made me a sandwich after the now-amusing flip-out. It probably sounds like a crazy sandwich, but it's tasty. It's a grilled sandwich. But instead of lunch meat and cheese in it, there's peanut butter... and chocolate. A grilled peanut butter and chocolate sandwich. Bizarre... but delicious. =) So he made the sandwich and I wrote up the blog post. =)

I like crazy lady stories! I had one where I made the wrong type of chicken for dinner. I cried for about a half hour. DH thought that was funny.
